Christmas is a large part of why John Lewis is consistently known as one of Britains best loved brands. Matt was privileged to have the opportunity as creative director to work with both the in-house brand teams and the talented Adam&Eve/DDB agency on the famous Christmas advertising campaigns. An equally demanding part of Matt’s role was to lead all the in-house creative functions in the conception and consistent execution of the highly impactful 360 seasonal creative visual campaigns. From merchandising, window theatre, in store ad activations and experiences, to multi category seasonal product packaging and how this blended with the advertising launch activation. In 2020 Matt also unified the John Lewis and Waitrose executions under the stronger together strategy.
